| I have been painting original watercolors in Arkansas for over
eight years. I am currently represented by
Artists Workshop Gallery in Hot Springs.
My original watercolor paintings have won many regional awards, and can be found in collections in twenty six
states and six countries. My biography, artist's statement,
news of my art-related activities incluing watercolor workshops that
I teach, and images of my larger paintings that are for sale
can be found on my website
www.jimoberst.com. |

| To encourage myself to paint more often,
in December of 2009 I decided to add an additional small weekly
watercolor painting to my normal painting activities throughout 2010.
I offer these paintings
exclusively on this website for only $100 each,
including shipping within the United States,
thus providing art lovers with a
broad selection of my original art at very affordable prices.
The additional shipping charge for international destinations is only $25. These
gems are large enough to enjoy, and small enough to fit that perfect spot that's just
too small for many paintings. They make wonderful, affordable gifts for your
art-loving family and friends.

| This 2010 experiment was successful in many ways, so I decided
to continue my weekly watercolor project indefinitely. New paintings
are posted weekly in
Gallery 1, which is also the home
page of this website. I've moved some of my earlier weekly watercolor
paintings to Gallery 0.

When you sign up for my monthly email newsletter, I'll send you
a special video slide show showing you how one can
make major corrections to watercolor paintings. Just
send me an email at
jim@jimoberst.com and you'll
get your video link by return email. I will not overload your mailbox
with spam or share your email address with anyone else, and you can
opt out at any time.

| Detailed descriptions of new paintings as they are added
are also available on my Weekly Watercolor Blog,
which you can subscribe to if you desire automatic updates.
You can also follow my art activities on
Facebook or
